These giant foam magnetic letters are a must for whole class phonics instruction, demonstrating and teaching blending and segmenting of the letters learnt at Phase Five of Letters and Sounds. After whole class instruction, children can split up into groups and practise with the smaller Phase Five magnetic letters for reinforcement and consolidation (LT09, sold separately, above). This set can also be used to supplement the 50 Giant Letter Patterns (see page 2). The letter patterns represented are also colour-coded to make learning easier. Contains 18 large foam magnets covering digraph beginnings, vowel sounds, and split digraphs (height approximately 160mm).
